Project Overview
King Kong Rhino is an ongoing sculptural project developed around the figure of the rhinoceros. Rather than representation, the work approaches the animal as a life form that once existed alongside human civilization, translated through contemporary metal and structural form.
The rhinoceros is not an imagined figure. Archaeological and paleontological records show that it once inhabited regions across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. This factual history grounds King Kong Rhino in lived reality rather than abstraction.
Across its installations, the work enters spaces of everyday movement and pause, adjusting to site conditions over time. Through repetition and duration, King Kong Rhino establishes continuity within the contemporary environment.
