Spring has arrived, and with it, Modern Art Gallery is excited to present a new exhibition that will inspire visitors with its playful and vibrant atmosphere. " Dancing through Whimsy " features the artistic talents of Joseph Wong and Shih Li-Jen, two artists whose creative vision captures the joy and wonder of the season.
At the heart of the exhibit is the iconic Chinese figure, Lao Fu Zi, also known as Old Master Q. This beloved character is the focus of Joseph Wong's work, which draws on his background in architecture to give Old Master Q a contemporary and rational cultural spirit. Wong's acrylic paintings of Old Master Q are not only a celebration of Chinese comic art but also a modern interpretation that incorporates music, abstraction, and drama.
